Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi (JOSTUM) is a forward-thinking federal university dedicated to training competent, compassionate, and highly skilled graduates. Formerly known as the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, the university was renamed in honour of the late Joseph Sarwuan Tarka, a renowned Nigerian statesman and agriculturalist from Benue State.
